Here are three useful grammars that you can use at the airport or on an airplane✈️
You can of course use them in other places as well, so please remember and use them

① [te-form]+ください = Please do ~

Verb's te-form conjugation + ください means " please do ~",
which you can use when you want to ask someone to do something.

For example, te-form of "みます[mimasu] (= to see)" is "みて [mite]",
so みてください [mite kudasai] means "please look"
Another example is te-form of みせます [misemasu] (=to show) is "みせて [misete]",
so みせてください [misete kudasai] means "please show me ~"

Example Sentence;
1. パスポートを見(み)せてください [pasupooto wo misete kudasai]
= Show me your passport, please
2. 座(すわ)ってください [suwatte kudasai]
= Please have a seat
3. これ、食(た)べてください [kore tabetekudasai]
= Please eat this

*How to Conjugate てform from ますform

②Aですか、Bですか? [A desuka B desuka] = A or B?

When you want to ask "A or B", you can use this grammar.
Please remember that both A and B should be nouns.
[Noun A] ですか、[Noun B]ですか?
ですか[desuka] means "is it~?", so it literally means "is it A, or is it B?"

例文 Example Sentence;
1. ねこですか、犬(いぬ)ですか? [neko desu ka inu desu ka]
= Is it a cat or a dog?
2. ビジネスクラスですか、エコノミークラスですか? [bijinesu kurasu desu ka ekonomii kurasu desu ka]
= Are you in business class or economy class?
3.旅行(りょこう)ですか、仕事(しごと)ですか? [ryokou desu ka shigoto desu ka]
= Is it a trip or a job?

③ Aはどこですか? [A wa doko desu ka] = Where is A?

When you want to ask "where is ~?" you can use this grammar.
どこ [doko] is a question word and the meaning is "where".
So, どこですか?[dokodesu ka] means "Where is ~?" in a formal way.
So you just need to add the place/person/item name you want to ask in front of どこですか [dokodesu ka]
[place/person/item]はどこですか? = Where is [place]?

例文 Example Sentence;
1. 免税店(めんぜいてん)はどこですか? [menzeiten wa doko desu ka]
= Where is the duty-free shop?
2. タクシー乗り場(のりば)はどこですか? [takushii noriba wa doko desu ka]
= Where is the taxi stop?
3. 山田(やまだ)さんはどこですか? [yamada san wa doko desu ka]
= Where is Mr. Yamada?
